In a recent conversation with the finance platform 1% Club, the 45-year-old actress revealed that she once spent a staggering Rs 23 lakh in just one day. When asked about the largest amount of money she has spent in a single day, Reddy candidly responded, "Rs 23 lakhs at a Dubai mall."

                            

                                    

The Role of the Personal Shopper

Reddy didn't shy away from admitting that the hefty spending was largely influenced by the presence of a personal shopper. "23 lakhs at a Dubai mall, just because they had one of those personal shoppers," she explained. The actress humorously added, "They are there for a reason, you know. I stay far away from them now." Reddy's experience is a reminder of how easy it can be to overspend when luxury shopping services are involved.

Investing Wisely: Reddy's Advice on SIPs

Beyond her confession about overspending, Sameera Reddy also shared some valuable financial advice during the conversation. When asked about her strategy for early retirement, Reddy was quick to recommend Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs). "SIPs are the strongest way to go because you are entering at different points in the market. It won’t hit you when the markets go up and down," she explained.

She further highlighted the accessibility of SIPs, noting that they can be started with as little as Rs 500.
